Recording equipment
The recordings were done by means of a digital recorder (Fostex FR-2LE) and two AKG
C451 B microphones placed on the table in front of the speakers. The recording took place in
the home of speaker 01 in Skattungbyn.
The speakers
The set consists of four speakers, a man born in 1938 and three women, born in 1924, 1935
and 1935. They were recruited with the help of the Swedish linguist Gunnar Nyström.
